Psychotherapy process
-
Intake
The intake process at Inner Circle Mental Health is a single, in-depth session lasting about an hour and a half. During this time, you'll meet with a therapist to ensure they’re the right fit for your needs and to begin creating personalized care recommendations. It’s also a chance to review your insurance, so we can provide a clearer, more realistic picture of your therapy costs moving forward. This session is designed to help you feel comfortable, informed, and supported from the start of your journey.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy at Inner Circle Mental Health is a one-on-one session focused entirely on you and your unique needs. Each session typically lasts about an hour and provides a safe, confidential space to explore challenges, work on personal goals, and develop coping strategies. Therapy frequency can vary depending on your needs—some clients find weekly sessions beneficial, while others may come bi-weekly or monthly. Your therapist will work with you to create a schedule that best supports your progress and well-being.

Family and Marriage Counseling
Marriage counseling and family therapy at Inner Circle Mental Health focus on improving relationships and communication within couples or families. Sessions are typically guided by a therapist skilled in relational dynamics, helping participants address conflicts, strengthen bonds, and build healthy communication patterns.
In marriage counseling, it’s common for both partners to attend, but sometimes only one spouse may participate, and that’s perfectly okay. Working individually can still be effective, helping the participating spouse gain insights and develop tools that can positively influence the relationship.
Family therapy can involve the entire family or just a few members, depending on needs and goals. The therapist helps each person feel heard and understood, fostering a supportive environment where everyone can work together toward a healthier, more connected family dynamic.
